Fall 2018 Registration Form
Online registration is closed and registration forms can be
dropped at the BBSC office.
Instructions: A copy of the players birth
certificate is required if they are new to the BBSC. Please send to

9/8 and end 10/28; notification of team assignment will
occur after 8/23. **League Fees: $125
per player via online registration ($135 per player via mail-in
form) Make check payable to BBSC or register online at
bbscsoccer.org. Registrations received without proper payment will
be returned. Refund policy available online.
**Deadline: 8/1/2018. Registrations postmarked
after 8/1/2018 deadline will be considered late. **Late
Registration: $145; NO special requests for late
registrations. Late registrants will be placed on wait list in order
received. Checks will be returned if player is not assigned to a
team by second game of the season. Once a late registration is
placed there are no refunds.

BBSC SPRING 2018 SEASON FACTS U5 (Pre-K) -
U14 (8th Grade)
Fall Soccer Program Facts
- The coaches will contact their players with game
and team information after the coach’s meeting which
is on Thursday, August 23rd.
- The games start the weekend of September 8th and
end the weekend of October 28th .
- The U5 (Pre-K) and U6 age groups
(kindergarteners) have practice and games on
Sunday afternoon for about an hour total.
An 7-8 game season is planned for these age groups.
- All other age groups practice during the week
and play their games on Saturday or Sunday (or
both). Sunday games begin after 12 noon. An eight
game season is planned. Saturday is the main game
day but 1-2 Sundays are possible.
- All games are played within the Birmingham
School district, except U12 and U14 teams that may
schedule with other leagues to provide an enhanced
schedule.
- No fee adjustments for weather related
cancellations.
- NO JEWERLY OF ANY KIND IS PERMITTED DURING
PRACTICE OR GAMES
- All players need to bring their OWN ball to
practices.
U5, U6, U7, U8 age groups use size 3
balls U10, U12 age groups use size 4 balls U14
age group uses size 5 balls
BBSC weeknight training schedule
- BBSC scheduled training starts Tuesday,
September 4th.
- The BBSC scheduled training sessions are:
- U7 and U8 boys/girls practice either Monday
or Tuesday 5:45pm-6:30pm or 6:30pm-7:15pm
- U10, U12, and U14 boys/girls practice either
Wednesday or Thursday 5:45pm-6:30pm or
6:30pm-7:15pm
- All teams are encouraged to attend the
league scheduled training sessions.
- Team coaches select the date/time slot their
team will practice. In some cases it can differ
from above schedule.
- Specific practice day can NOT be requested
by players
- The location for the BBSC training sessions is
Groves High School

Fees: $75 per player via online registration ($80 per player
via mail-in form) Make check payable to BBSC or
register online at bbscsoccer.org. Registrations received
without proper payment will be returned.
**Deadline: August 1, 2018, or before
if program reaches the 30 player per session max.
**Late Registration: Late
registrants will be placed in program if space allows.
Checks will be returned if program is full. Please
check our refund policy online.
**Eligibility: All players must be 2 ½ years old by 8/1/18.
(Born after 2/1/2016). **On-Line Registration:

The program
begins September 15th runs for 6 weeks (9/15, 9/22, 9/29,
10/6, 10/13, 10/20). There are 3 sessions available;
10:00am-10:45am, 11:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m., or 12:00 p.m. -
12:45 p.m. at Groves High School. There is a 30 child
program maximum per time slot and will be filled on a FIRST
REGISTERED basis. If the time slot you request is already
filled, you will be notified with the option of available
time slot. Children are NOT placed on teams. This program is
run in a camp-like setting: children are divided into groups
and work with a trainer focusing on ball and motor skills.

Spring Soccer TOT Program Facts

An introductory soccer program for 2 ½ - 4 year
olds.

The program aims to teach basic soccer skills
through games in a camp-like atmosphere. Players
will not be on set teams, but will be divided into
small groups each Saturday. Players will be able to
be in groups with their friends.

6 Saturdays: 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20.

3 sessions available: 10:00 - 10:45am, 11:00 -
11:45am, 12:00 - 12:45 p.m.

All sessions at Groves High School
• Program
T-shirt included in registration fee. T-shirt will
be handed out at the first session (9/15). Meet by
the Tennis courts on 9/15 for brief
meeting/announcements and we will go to fields
together. • Shin guards are required. Tennis
shoes are acceptable, soccer cleats are welcome.
• Balls will be provided for use each week. • No
fee adjustments for weather related cancellations.
• A U5 program is available thru our regular Rec
Soccer Program. An older 4 year old may be more
suited to the U5 program. Children are placed on set
teams and play actual games. More info is available

link. Children in the U5 program are either in Jr.
Kindg or 4 yr old Preschool.
Recreational Player Eligibility
Players must attend a Birmingham Public School or a Private School
within the Birmingham Public School district boundaries to be
eligible to play in the BBSC Recreational Program. BBSC Blazer
Players (competitive teams formed through tryouts) have no geographic
restrictions.
Mission Statement of the Birmingham-Bloomfield Soccer Club
The Birmingham Bloomfield Soccer Club (BBSC) is committed to
providing the community's youth an opportunity to participate in a
team sport, developing soccer skills through comprehensive
instruction and competitive games, with an emphasis on sportsmanship
and life lessons.
Club Philosophy
The Birmingham Blazers are a community-based
soccer club, who aim to develop and nurture young people as both
fine soccer players and great people. Our experienced staff try to
develop players both technically and tactically so that they can
grow and improve as young soccer players. Our emphasis as a club is
on improvement, and preparing our players for high school, ODP and
college careers. But more importantly, we want to have fun on and
off the field, creating good sportsmanship.
BBSC Registration Refund Policy
The BBSC will refund the $125 registration
fee is a request is made in writing and received in the BBSC
office before the last day of open registration in a given
season. All checks returned by bank as not paid will be assessed
a $40 NSF fee. All late registrations not placed on a team by the 2nd game will have their registration check returned to them.
