IMPORTANT RULE CHANGE!

March, 2016

Effective immediately, there is NO HEADING in any age group under U14. This means in the U12 and below age groups there is no heading. The Michigan State Youth Soccer Association issued this directive and all league members (of which the BBSC is one), must comply.

This mandate is for practices as well as games.

A purposeful header (realizing that a ball may hit a player in the head and that is not heading) by a player shall result in an indirect free kick awarded to the opponent at the spot of the infraction.
